The Forest accommodation consists of a Country House B&B and 4 splendid self catering holiday cottages; 3 are at The Forest set in 4 acres of beautiful gardens and paddocks, and a forth is in the hamlet of Hodley, 2 miles away. The tranquil rural setting makes it the perfect place in which to relax. Less than a mile away is Kerry village with pub restaurant and it is a 5 minute drive from Newtown in central Mid Wales. Mid Wales is the perfect place for a short break or longer holiday.

Each cottage accommodates 2 to 6 people for self catering and the B&B has 5 bedrooms. The furnishings and decoration of each cottage and bedrooms are different but all share a style which respects the original Victorian architecture. WIFI internet is available in the B&B and Forest Cottages. Pets are welcome in the cottages or kennels. Children of all ages are welcome. A hot tub is available for daily hire whenever Forest Cottage is vacant.

The Forest nestles in the beautiful Vale of Kerry while Holly Cottage is in the Vale of Montgomery. Walks nearby include the Kerry Ridgeway, Offa's Dyke and Glyndwr's Way. Montgomery with its castle ruins and the medieval Powis Castle are close by and there are steam railways and canals to explore. There is a lot to do and see in beautiful Mid Wales.

Each cottage has is own garden or patio area and guests are welcome to wander in the main gardens.

Children of all ages are welcome and there is an outside play area, play fort, tennis court, toy boxes and a free games room.

The Guest House Accommodation (Bed and Breakfast)

The Forest Country Guest House is a family run bed and breakfast. It is approached from a quiet rural lane leading to our main entrance with ample parking. Families with children of all ages are welcome. We offer:

• 5 luxury en-suite bedrooms with Satellite TV, DVD

• WIFI internet in all rooms

• Spacious Drawing Room, Dining room and Meeting room

• Tennis court, play area ,toy boxes, DVDs, Games Room

• Kennels, stables and a secure lock-up for bicycles

The Cottages Accommodation (Self Catering)

The Forest Holiday Cottages has 3 cottages forming a courtyard within the grounds of The Forest in Kerry and Holly Cottage is in the neighbouring hamlet of Hodley, 2 miles away.

Each cottage includes:

Rental periods run from Friday to Friday and may be possible from Saturday in low season.

Short breaks are available in mid and low seasons from Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday
